Referral Program Terms
Eligibility
Open to individuals and businesses, except current employees and contractors of Brethren LLC. You may not refer yourself, your own business, or a business you own or control.
Making a referral
Submit the referral through the form on our Referral Partners page before we have contacted, or been contacted by, the person or company you are referring. A referral is credited to the first person who submits it. We will tell you promptly if the referral is already an active client or an open conversation.
Referral credit lasts twelve months from the date you submit it. If the person you referred becomes a client within that window, the fee is due.
What we pay
Ten percent (10%) of the project value, up to a maximum of $5,000 per project.
Project value means the total fees invoiced to the client for the project, excluding taxes, third-party costs passed through at cost, shipping, printing and manufacturing, media spend and reimbursed expenses.
Referral fees are paid on the referred client's first project with us.
When we pay
After the project is delivered and the client's final invoice has been paid in full, within 30 days. If a client pays in installments, we pay after the final installment clears.
If a project is cancelled, refunded or not paid, no fee is due. If a project is partially completed and invoiced, we pay ten percent of what was actually collected, subject to the same cap.
How we pay
By ACH transfer or PayPal, whichever you prefer. We will ask for your details when a referral turns into a project.
If we pay you $600 or more in a calendar year, we are required to issue a Form 1099 and will ask you for a completed Form W-9 before sending payment.
Other terms

- We may change or end this program at any time. Referrals already submitted and accepted before a change will be honored under the terms in effect when they were submitted.
- Referral fees are not payable where prohibited by law, by a client's procurement rules, or by any agreement you have with your employer. You are responsible for making sure you are allowed to accept one.
- You may not make claims on our behalf, use our name or marks in advertising, or represent yourself as an agent, employee or partner of Brethren LLC without our written permission.
- Taxes on any fee you receive are yours to handle.
